Dave Lee is a 53 year old pianist/composer residing in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Music began for Dave at the age of nine studying with several private instructors. These lessons continued through high School and included intense training on pipe organ.
Song writing and exploring other musical styles were early interests.
Professional / performance music work started just after high school. Dave also began a career in radio broadcasting while in high school. The work in radio included involvement in news, sports, commercial writing and production as well as "DJ". Radio continued for Dave until 1988.
Dave's music performance and composition continued during the radio days and became a full-time profession in 1988.
Dave was a pianist for Nordstrom for almost 16 years. He was the full-time pianist at the Washington Square store for over 10 years.
Dave performs regularly at the Portland City Grill and Montgomery Park.
Dave has been in various bands including a three-year stint with the McKenzie River Band.
Dave began his recording career in 1995. He has produced eight of his own CD's (one with Doug Durbrow). Dave has contributed music on other CD's including a nationally released 1996 Nordstrom Piano CD, 1999 KKJZ (Now K-LITE) Holiday sampler and the 1999 Portland based Christmas Spirit benefit CD.
Dave has also produced two CD's for Corporate Client Coldwell Banker / Barbara Sue Seal Properties.
Dave's music has aired on the radio in 38 states and on syndicated and internet radio formats as well.
Dave Lee operates his own digital recording facility, Electronic Garage Productions, at his home in Hillsboro, Oregon.
