Quotes About - JUKEBOX
  • from the May 1999 Portland Jazzscene Review
    • . . .his contemporary jazz-pop runs along smooth as a Sunday drive.
    • . . . the musicianship is top notch.
    • . . .there are standouts, such as Lee's own compositions. His title track, JUKEBOX, is a funky smooth-jazz tune with Lee's rhythmic comping, and the quieter tune, QUIETLY EXTREME, is both moving and memorable.
    • . . .a grand piano version of All I have to Do Is Dream is solid, and a funky 90's version of the standard Stella By Starlight hits the mark with melodicism and crisp production.
    • Dan Balmer, Carlton Jackson and Paul Mazzio elevate the arrangements.
