When Your Eyes Met Mine was released in June of 1997. The ten tracks comprise of seven originals, two jazz classics and a Beatles cover (Michelle). Nine are ensemble tracks with one solo piano selection.

When Your Eyes Met Mine was produced by Dave Lee and digitally recorded, engineered and mixed by Doug Durbrow at Gino Vannelli's Inka Studios in Portland, OR.

When Your Eyes Met Mine was inspired by the evening when Dave met his wife, Shawn Paris.

The opening title track is the "Band" playing at the beginning of the evenings performance. The closing title track finds the "Band" at the end of the couple's evening.

(Shawn's photograph of Dave Lee is on the After The Storm CD)

The music on When Your Eyes Met Mine again has elements of contemporary and mainstream jazz plus a bit of new age.
