A Few Thoughts On the Music . . .
Merry Christmas to all of you! We've had some genuine fun producing and crafting these songs. We hope our arrangements of the classics and new originals enhance your holiday season. The new song "Christmas Morning" attempts to capture the mood of young children sneaking in the middle of the night to get a peek at the presents under the tree. Dave plays the piano with the remainder of the tracks performed by Doug . . . with the help of some friends opening gifts. "Ted E. Bear's Christmas Adventure" is the sound track of a little bear's trip home for Christmas. Dave plays piano and electric piano with Doug handling the additional keyboard sounds. The ambiguous ending seems to suggest that there may be more to this story . . . perhaps on the next CD. “Snowflake’s Journey” is Dave and Dougs' remaking Dave. This song originally appeared on Dave’s CD, “When Your Eyes Met Mine”. On this version, Dave is on keyboards and Doug provides the wind chimes, Mark Tree and vocal wind effects. There are many Christmas classics and we arranged a few of our favorites for this disk.
